Volunteer Park Conservatory's exterior is modeled after London’s Crystal Palace and it is a Historic Victorian greenhouse anchoring Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill since 1912. The glass greenhouse is surrounded by the beautiful scenery, and elegant lawns of the celebrated Olmsted park. Encompassing five distinct temperate houses the Conservatory showcases a vast variety of tropical and subtropical plant life.

The brand identity derived from from the idea of a seed and that seed sprouting and spreading knowledge. The logomark is representative of that knowledge being spread, since The Conservatory is seen as a place of learning. The solution is also a light nod to the architecture of the building.
