Coming from a background that is rich in culture, this series of illustrations tries to connect to that background. Using a simple approach, I tried to express the beauty of my culture.
A lot of the inspiration comes from the masks of Mexico. I paired down the colors, but kept the complexity of the patterns to create a modernized version of the art.
