This was an exercise to create posters of flora and fauna native to the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by old biological illustrations and their muted color palette, the posters take that aesthetic and pushes it to the modern realm. I chose to simplify the subject matter and broke them down into geometrical shapes.
After the exercise was over, I continued the series with more animal illustrations.
